An erotic story with menage, holiday and light BDSM themes by Toni Sands.

When Lizzie holidays in Iceland she's startled by this ravishing, rampant country. Anticipating dark and glacial landscapes, Lizzie, visiting the Blue Lagoon, discovers powerful sensations as her inhibitions dissolve like the ice in her vodka. With friend Megan and Arni the Viking, she finds delicious ways of passing the long arctic nights.

Volcanic ash has brought problems. But I have nothing but good memories of the time I spent in Iceland. My friend Megan was doing research in Reykjavik. When she emailed an invitation to join her for Christmas, I rang immediately. This was the land of fire and ice. Elves and trolls dominated the culture. So there were only a few hours of daylight? Worth it for a glimpse of the aurora borealis.
‘I’d love to come,’ I said.
‘Great. I’ll need to go into work a couple of times. I won’t bore you with the details.’
No doubt geothermal studies were fascinating but I had other things on my mind. Little did I know how my dismal love life was about to erupt. ‘So what’s it like?’ I asked. ‘Being a single female up there with all those Vikings?’
She just laughed. We fixed my travel date and she promised to meet my flight.
‘The female cabin crew were all gorgeous Nordic blondes,’ I complained as Megan drove out of the airport car park.
‘Ah,’ she said. ‘But if you were forced to live on pistachio ice-cream, wouldn’t you long for a taste of chocolate or peppermint?’
Megan’s dark hair was long and lustrous. My toffee-colour hair came with that pre-Raphaelite look admired by other people more than its owner. Maybe she had a point. My spirits lifted.
I peered at the landscape – what little I could see in the headlight beams. ‘It’s kind of weird, isn’t it?’
‘A bit like a moonscape?’ she said.
‘Or that field trip to Wales?’
She howled with laughter. ‘I remember us sneaking to the pub and being chatted up by a couple of young farmers.’
‘That was the first time a boy got inside my knickers!’
‘You were lucky,’ she said. ‘Mine wasn’t quite as skilled as yours.’
Megan had never seemed eager to discuss anything about her love life. I’d had my first big orgasm with my back rammed against a tree trunk. I’d discovered sex was food and drink to me but I didn’t compare notes with her. Now, as she drove, I watched for goblins frisking in front of their lairs. The spooky landscape stared back in silence.
Next morning, even at half-past-eight, darkness still stuck to my bedroom window. Later when I saw the bright palette of rooftops painted in primary colours, I decided I was going to like this country.
As it was Sunday, Megan was in the kitchen, making coffee. ‘I’ll take you to my favourite bistro for brunch,’ she said, then smiled. ‘Your face is a picture, Lizzie. Iceland isn’t about dried reindeer meat and geysers.’
We were big girls now. I took a deep breath. ‘So, come on,’ I said. ‘How’s your love life? I’ve already told you mine’s non-existent.’
She sipped her coffee, gave me a thoughtful look. ‘It’s ... interesting.’

This story would make great bedtime reading. And it makes me wish I could hang out at the blue pool with Arni the Viking etc!
